Billing works per team - each one has its own plan and limits, so you can bill a client team separately from your own.
Only the team owner can manage billing.

Billing page

Open Teams -> Manage current team -> Billing to review the current plan, usage, and available upgrades or downgrades. From this page, owners can:
  • Choose monthly or yearly pricing
  • Start checkout for a plan
  • Switch plans or billing period
  • Open the Stripe billing portal

Plans

All plans include Status, SSL, DNS, Broken Links, and Performance checks.
Broken-link and performance checks have an additional fastest cadence floor of 12 hours. If your plan allows checks every 1 or 5 minutes, those faster intervals apply to tools such as Status, SSL, and DNS.

Usage limits

Plan limits affect:
  • Number of sites on the team
  • Number of seats, including pending invitations
  • Monthly on-demand check runs
  • Fastest automatic check cadence
  • Check history retention
Once you hit a limit, the action that would go over it is simply unavailable - you can’t add a site when you’re at your site limit, invite someone when seats are full, or run more on-demand checks once you’ve used this month’s quota. Upgrading lifts the limit straight away.

When billing lapses

If a team’s plan becomes inactive, its features pause until billing is sorted out: the dashboard switches to a limited, read-only view, and API requests for that team are turned away (with a 402 Payment Required, if you’re calling the API). Sorting out payment restores access right away.
