Personal team
When you register, SitePulse creates a personal team for your account. This is your default workspace for adding sites and running checks.- The personal team cannot be deleted
- You can create additional teams for clients or projects
- The API exposes
personal_team: trueon the team resource for your personal workspace
Creating or joining a team
New users verify their email before creating or joining a team. After verification, users without a team create one unless they have a pending invitation to accept. Open Teams to switch workspaces, review team owners, see member and site counts, create another team, or open pending invitations. When you create a team, you set the team name and can upload a team avatar. The new team becomes available as a separate workspace with its own sites, checks, issues, monitoring settings, notifications, and billing.Roles
SitePulse uses three practical access levels:Owner
Manage the team, billing, members, security, monitoring, notifications, sites, checks, and issues.
Admin
Manage team settings, members, monitoring, notifications, sites, checks, and issues.
Member
View team data, manage sites, view checks, and triage issues without managing team administration or billing.
Owners are the only users who can manage billing. Team deletion is owner-only.
Members and invitations
Admins and owners can invite members by email and choose a role.- An invitation can only be accepted by the email address it was sent to
- Pending invitations count toward the team’s seat limit
- Pending invitations can be revoked by users with member-management permission
- Invitees can decline their own invitations
- When a member’s role changes, SitePulse emails that member so they know their access changed
Team-scoped settings
Monitoring defaults (cadence, thresholds, escalation, quiet time) and notification destinations are configured per team by admins and owners. See Monitoring settings and Notifications.Billing
Billing is managed by the team owner through Stripe (checkout and billing portal), covering plan selection, payment methods, plan limits, and invoice history.Plans
SitePulse offers three pricing tiers. All plans include all five check tools. See Billing and plans for current prices, usage limits, manual-check quotas, invoices, and Stripe portal behavior.Security
Admins and owners can require two-factor authentication (2FA) for all members from the team edit page. When the requirement is enabled, members who have not set up 2FA are prompted to do so and cannot access team-scoped areas until they complete setup.Danger zone
Team danger-zone actions are permanent.| Action | Who can use it | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Leave team | Non-owner members when allowed | Removes you from the team. You lose access until invited again. |
| Delete team | Owner only, non-personal teams only | Deletes the team, removes members, cancels pending invitations, and deletes related sites, checks, and issues. |
